Hello everybody! My name is Dr. Daniel Page, but you can call me Daniel or Dan! In the 2026 Municipal Elections in the RM of Springfield, Manitoba, I am running for Mayor (Head of Council). As announced on May 1, 2026, I seek to improve government transparency, reform, and accountability, including restoring the public’s role in our governance. I strive to protect your civic voice and our rural communities.
Daniel is your local Computer Science professor on Pineridge Road, and runs his own small educational business PageWizard GL&E, where he conducts his academic research, and creates multimedia (books, videos, and offering videography & educational consulting services), especially affordable educational materials in Computer Science. He is a theoretical computer scientist and science educator, offering a rare expertise in this municipality. You may learn some more about his expertise here.
Daniel Page is a registered candidate for Mayor in the 2026 Rural Municipality (RM) of Springfield Municipal Elections, which take place on October 28, 2026. Daniel is the first registered candidate for Mayor, registering on May 1, 2026. June 4, 2026 Fundraising Meet & Greet Event
I would like to thank everybody who came out to my first event, and also those who volunteered. It was a pleasure to meet with you, and to give people the opportunity to be heard, discuss, and to listen. A part of this laid-back meet & greet event was the theme of heritage, we raised some money for the Grotto Restoration Fund — Daniel Page, June 7, 2026.
